Hydroxatone is a 4 step skin care system that claims it can “rejuvenate beauty through science.” It’s been making that claim for years now, as this product has been around the block a few hundred times.  It was originally developed by a renown New York plastic surgeon named Dr. Fiorillo.

What do we know about Hydroxatone?

4 step program: we know it uses a 4 step process which includes a milk cleanser, balancing toner, and an anti-wrinkle treatment and a instant facelift.  The instant face-lift involves pads that are placed on the face and left for 20 minutes. I’m not sure how I feel about that.  Can those pads really be that effective? Unlikely, and if you do see results they’re probably temporary.

Free trial: you can try Hydroxatone for free by taking advantage of their free trial. Under normal circumstances I would recommend jumping all over that but unfortunately to get the free trial (and this is fairly common place with “free trials”) you have to leave your credit card number and you’ll be billed every month for the months supply unless you call and get it canceled.  I don’t like autoships, and I don’t recommend products that require you to enroll.

Guarantee: the guarantee is decent.  They offer a 30-day guarantee on their product so if you discover the product isn’t working you can send it back for a refund.

Price: this is where things really get sticky.  They’re asking close to $200 bucks for the 4 step cleanse.  Granted you are getting 4 different products, but this seems excessive to me.  That’s part of the reason why some people will try and get the 4 different steps individually, depending on where they can get the best price.

Hydroxatone is a solid wrinkle remover, with solid ingredients—albeit way overpriced. Unfortunately they choose to use an auto ship program and because of that it really hurts it in our eyes. Keep searching.
