This product is another creation by cosmetic guru Michael Todd. This guy has several other skin rejuvenation products on the market. This Knu: New You supposedly includes “this amazing anti-aging breakthrough.” That break through is snail secretion and according to the website this secretion protects against free radicals, environmental pollution and UV radiation. Who knew all that was possible from the slimy stuff that snails leave behind?
Is Knu: New You really effective?
That’s the big question. After a quick google search several of the links took me back to websites owned by the Michael Todd Company. They also have several links on their website linking to a couple of studies backed by scientific research.
I’m always wary of non-independent studies. I won’t say they’re wrong, far from it. But I guess I want an independent opinion instead of one hand fed to me but the company and one you know will put the product or ingredient in a good light.
This is one of the only products I’ve ever encountered with this stuff. So it’s hard to give an accurate review. Maybe it’s because on the sales site, this high concentration of purified snail secretion is manufactured exclusively for Michael Todd. If there are other products that contain this secretion, I haven’t seen them yet.
How much does Knu: New You cost?
I know it will cost you $130 for a bottle. I couldn’t find any information about how long that bottle will last. I think it’s safe to assume at least a month. Then again, we’ve seen stranger things.

That is the one thing we noticed about the sales website. It lacks several key bits of information, for instance how long does the bottle last. It also doesn’t include an ingredient profile or how much of each ingredient is going into the product. I have no idea how much of the snail secretion formula is going into the product and how much it needs to be effective. I don’t like vagueness. That always makes me a little skeptical of things—especially if that will cost me over a hundred bucks.

The way we see it
It’s an interesting concept. Not much is known about snail secretion and how effective it is as a skin care product. It sounds reasonable but I wouldn’t put a ton of stock into that until we know more.
They do offer the money-back guarantee so that’s a nice crutch if you do decide to pick up the product. The sticking point for me the price tag. If the product was cheaper, I’d say take the risk but when it could cost you over $100 I’m a little bit more hesitant to do that. My suggestion is to look for a safer bet.
